About The Company

SecuSolutions is in the business of providing essential security solutions that safeguard mission critical infrastructure and data. We specialize in security product development, managed security services, security training, and specialized security consulting services.

We offer our products and solutions through channel partner relationships. Partners can choose to rebrand our services or stay with the SecuSolutions brand.  We support all of our products and services, so our partners can focus on sales.

Our 20 plus year history in cyber security has expanded across three continents, multiple cultures and customs. We have learned that while security is everyone’s concern, not all have access to it. It is our mission to fix this problem.

Our core purpose is to be able to provide all purveyors of IT services or solutions, with the means to deploy effective, intelligible, and affordable frontline security solutions to the masses.

Mr. Kootnekoff has been working in the cyber security industry for more than 21 years. Beginning in 1999, Mr Kootnekoff formed his first cyber security company in Tokyo Japan. In 6 short years, he grew the company to become the number 2 ranked security company in Japan, serving fortune 500 companies as well as local and federal government. Under his direction, Mr. Kootnekoff’s staff, developed several industry-firsts, security services and products, one of which was built for and sold to IBM Japan. Mr. Kootnekoff has given countless speeches on the topic of cyber security throughout the globe, including a multi city collaboration with Symantec Japan, speaking on the topic of spyware and malware. He cofounded one of the first security conference ever held in Tokyo named PacSec and Tokyo InterSec. He since formed his current company SecuSolutions in 2007 and continues to focus on essential product development and security services that are in high demand, including a SaaS vulnerability service, Phishing Simulation Service as well as a complete suite of online Cyber Security training that are focused on front line personnel. Mr. Kootnekoff is also responsible for the overseeing of the Professional Security Services division of SecuSolutions which offers a number of critically important services including Penetration testing, infrastructure audits & reviews, as well as vulnerability testing.

Mr. Maggio is the founder of The Software Development and Testing Company and is a former officer in the United States Army and Bronze Star recipient for Military service in Iraq during the Persian Gulf War. His career boasts more than 24 years of sales and management experience in the technology industry with specific emphasis in software, managed services, and professional services to clients both in public and private sectors. He also maintains a highly regarded reputation as a subject matter expert in operational disaster planning, implementation, and recovery. Mr. Maggio Jr is a frequent speaker at Technology Conferences worldwide.

George Rafael is a Management Consultant and Business Information Systems professional whose career and experience spans over 45 years. During this time, he has held numerous professional portfolios from deep technology, the application of I.T. to business, and providing professional advice to many industries, utilities and the public sector. The last twenty-five years were focused on the delivery of professional services and seventeen of those years he has been as a senior consulting practitioner in Alberta. George graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Computer Science (Honors.) and has held numerous portfolios, including Client Partner for SAP Canada’s Western Region, Manager Implementations for FinTech Services Limited and was responsible for all implementation teams, Business Development Manager for IBM Global Services, Manager, Coopers & Lybrand (PWC) Consulting Practice and President & Senior Principal of Gilmore & Associates.

Mike is Managing Director of Strategy and Risk for MorganFranklin Cyber with over 20 years of experience successfully assessing information security risks and designing information security programs for healthcare, retail,  financial, energy and manufacturing corporations. Mike brings a mix of both the strategic and tactical when identifying and clarifying information security and technology risks and coordinating remediation efforts. Mike is an effective leader, creative problem solver and strategic decision maker. Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Mike served as global chief information security officer for an 8-billion-dollar privately-owned global food manufacturer based in Chicago that services some of the world’s best-known brands throughout 17 countries and has also worked in the Energy industry for about 15 years.  Mike holds or has retired the following professional certifications: Certified Data Privacy Solution Engineer (CDPSE), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP).

History

For more than 20 years, founding members, key staff and management have been working directly in the cyber security space. During this time, we have served Governments, Large Enterprises and Small to Medium Sized Businesses around the globe.

We have founded companies, served as board members and directors for companies in the Information Technology Development and Consultancy Field, Financial, and Enterprise Software sectors. We have managed large teams of security personnel for Large Enterprise Corporations and one of North America’s largest privately owned Corporations.
